Dos Madres Press reading in NYC
I'll be reading with seven other Dos Madres Press poets...including our publisher, Robert Murphy, who is in from Ohio for the event!...today, Sunday October 19, from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Suite BAR NYC
992 Amsterdam Ave (corner of 109th Street), New York, New York 10025
Featuring: R Nemo Hill, David Katz, Rick Mullin, Robert Murphy, Paul Pines, Henry Weinfield, and Anne Whitehouse. Hosted by John Foy under the auspices of the Red Harlem Readers, coordinated by Cordis Heard.
"Founded in Loveland, OH, in 2004 by Robert J. Murphy, Dos Madres Press is dedicated to the belief that the small press is essential to the vitality of contemporary literature as a carrier of the new voice and new works by established poets, as well as the older, sometimes forgotten voices of the past. Six Dos Madres poets with roots or branches in New York City will meet with Murphy this fall as the Red Harlem Readers series at Suite hosts the press for October. Books, beautifully designed by Elizabeth Murphy of Dos Madres, will be available at the event."
Suite Bar is an eccentrically intimate, relaxed, and very welcoming venue. Come by if you are in the area.

Pardon the typos in the thread heading, I just got up and did this without coffee, ha!
I guess it may at least get the thread some attention.

Added later: thanks Shaun for correcting rewading inn, to reading in.

Wish I could be there, Nemo! Sounds fabulous. An impressive lineup, a great venue and...New York. Dos Madres does beautiful books. New York. >sigh<
(Up 2 hours before dawn? And you know what a typo is?)

Pe-dawn light is my favorite, Siham. Of course, years ago, in my youth, I used to see it drunkenly, before sleep...these days I see it after a sound sober sleep!
