Close, it's "I can hop, goi"

[I was supposed to be named Adolf Vaughn Poochigian (no, really) but my parents took pity on me in my embryonic state and chose a first name from outside the family.]

Aaron - you guess it right.

Young Master Ancarrow and I are firm friends. To meet would be fine but until we do, our occasional exchanges of inspired idiocy make little puddles of glee on my life's samey pages. (Drip, drip, drip, eh?)

I just saw this and have no doubts that I will, in fact, meet Annie one day (if only to hear her voice in person). I was hoping to make it to the UK during my current Euro-go-round (I write this from Berlin), but I couldn't work out the logistics (and anyway, I am heading east and east until it is practically west--a future postcard will tell all).

I still don't get rule 3:

3. Author’s name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and name of poem being parodied should be typed on each entry.

That's asking a lot of the judge, to know and yet set aside all personal connection.

John, someone will correct me if this is wrong, but I think they somehow block the name on the copy that goes to the judge.

Thanks, Roger. I hope that is the case. Not very efficient if it is the case, but then it may be left over from the paper-only submission days.

John, I now recall that I raised this very issue a year ago in this thread, and indeed it is true that the names will be "scrubbed" from the poems before the judge sees them.

Yes, I can confirm that (and it's a lot of effort for Rob & Paul).
