Gotta love the precision of language, gotta love its fuzziness, too. We are all, like, totally good with words here, and I was confident that our hmms and WTFs on this topic would add up to a stimulating discussion. Maybe the folks who selected this word of the year were just trying a little too hard to be interesting, but I'm willing to give them credit for engaging with genuinely thought-provoking language issues. Thanks to everybody who has weighed in, pro & con.
