All right, I'm a douchebag and I suck, but this has been here a week, and I've been around here for seven years with over 5,000 posts (most of them critiques of other people's poetry). So I'm going to bounce this for maybe a couple of "Good Luck, Rick!"s, if I can get them. Sue me.

Thanks,
Rick

David is running a great series out there. I'd love to hear those Darwin poems read aloud. Have a good one (or two), Rick.

Hold on, next Wednesday you're in the Bay Area, right?! Cheers, Rick, and yes, say hi to David--who will be here in LA very soon!

Wish I could hear the Darwin poems too. Argh!

Charlotte

Break a line, Rick. (I just realized that Mary Meriam used the same gag - even my congrats seem plagiarized. We're all too clever) So break a leg instead. Nobody used that (on this thread) yet.

You know what a lovely series David runs, since everything you told me about it was true. So I think it's a given that you'll have a great time. And I think it's also a given that you'll give a bang-up performance. But break a leg anyhow!
