How does my "poetic practice" relate to exploring the human-animal bond?

At first I thought, oh good, I have an animal poem I could send! But the very thought of explaining my poetic practice in terms of my relationship with a pet, for example...nah.

fyi, I searched for National Museum of Animals and Society and a link came up to http://www.museumofanimals.org/

At that site, the screen is pure gray. Thanks Bob, anyway. Not your fault. You tried.

Terese, I too got a grey screen at first with Roger's link, but the Association site came up after waiting a little.

All seems a bit earnest and bureaucratic.

I also got a gray screen the first few times I tried, as did someone else I know. But then it worked.

If I decide to send them something, I'm just not going to take their submission dictates all that seriously. If that affects the decision, so be it, but I suspect it will all come down to the poem itself. As far as the CV is concerned, I'm thinking that a fairly detailed author bio will be enough. If not, that's life.

Clearly the poetry side of things is not what they're used to, but it strikes me as a pretty classy venue to have a poem so it's worth a stamp.
