Many thanks, Chris, for the post! Also for kind thoughts by Ed and Jerome, and congratulations to you, Jerome, and Ed!

Great title, "Holy Mortality," since one's mortality and life are coeval. Since I was not much of a Batman fan, the first couplet was my fave. Ed's Kislyak limerick rocks, and much enjoyed Chris' and Jerome's work in Light!

I'm still in a bit of shock over the day's news, having spent many hours waiting in hospital for a minor procedure (all done and ok), so I had to catch up late on the London and Alexandria horrors.
