Since the U.S. Poet Laureate (Billy Collins) Opposes War with Iraq and since the Wall Street Journal has published “A Day of Poetry for the War,” it looks as if we have a new short list for the next U.S. Poet Laureate-- Elliot McGucken, Tim Murphy, and Thomas Newton.
