Think Journal, Again
Think Journal 2.4 has come out with work by Spherians David Landrum, Aaron Poochigian, R. Nemo Hill, and E. Shaun Russell. Featured poet is David Yezzi.
I particularly admired David Landrum's poem "The Female Painter" (inspired by fresco at Pompeii). Way to go, people.

Congrats to all! Don't have a copy yet, so I can't comment on the poems, but nice placements, everyone!
Thanks,
Bill

I liked Nemo's long poem.

There's a lot worth reading in the issue. For those of you who like to listen, there is an audio link to my Elegy on the site. Try the second player, the small one below, if the first doesn't work (which it may not for some).

A fine elegy
Nemo, just a quick note to mention how much I enjoyed the Elegy in the current Think Journal. You raise the issue of poetic autobiography with a touch of satire, yet you're able to deepen the poem so that, in the end, it's quite moving. Not an easy thing to do!

Thanks so much, Ned. It is a bit of a long-winded tight-rope act, though I intentionally let the rope go pretty slack from time to time...something about the meter: slacken, tighten, slacken, tighten, slacken, tighten.
