Holt, Mehigan, Murphy: life interferes again
This is an update on the promised event "Poetry of Quiet Desperation," a discussion among Jeff Holt, Joshua Mehigan, and Tim Murphy.
A great many complications have made it necessary for our participants to ask to reschedule, and we don't really know yet when things will calm down enough for us to do that reliably. Apologies to all for the hole in the schedule. We'll tell you more as soon as we know it.
In the meantime, don't forget that the deadline for submitting to the Translation Bakeoff is June 27, now less than two weeks away.

This is the first I've seen the translation deadline posted. I still can't find it. Sorry to be dense, but could you link to the details?

Here's the link, Roger. The details are also posted down on Staff Announcements.
Meanwhile, there are further rumblings in the background that the Quiet Despair folks may go ahead with slightly different personnel. Stay tuned....

Quiet Despair will begin Saturday. It's Jeff's show, and he will discuss some favorite poets, including his buddy Josh Mehigan. But Jeff will be joined as co-hosts by me, by Rhina Espaillat (and if you don't associate Rhina with despair, you've never seen her deal with me), and a return engagement: the great Suzanne Doyle. So are you depressed, discouraged, beaten into the dust and snarling? Join us. You'll be in fine company.
