Congrats, David!

"...a book of memorable, meditative beauty."

What more could one ask for?

Thanks,

Bill

Congratulations on the excellent review. I can't wait until I have a chance to read the book.

Congratulations. If News From the Village is the prose equal of Arrivals, which I'm reading now, that would be quite a feat.

David

Sounds like a fine and worthwhile book.

Well done!

Thanks, friends. It's such an eccentric book that I feared it would drop out of sight like a stone in a pond. There was one slightly snarky review in the TLS, so it's wonderful to feel the book has been read sympathetically in this case.
