Maryann,
It's actually free wordpress software, which I downloaded and put up on my webhost. Then I reconfigured the style sheet, and did some image work (those banners, so far, are San Diego, Nice, Boston, and Mt. Whitney). The tricky part was turning blog code into website code. If anyone wants to try something similar, the overlay is called "atahualpa."
But once I got the code working, Kate looked at my idea of formatting, and gasped in horror
"Give me that keyboard!" she said, in a tone that cannot be ignored.
By the way, I put up the "friends and colleagues" links just yesterday. I searched for you, but couldn't find a website or blog to link to. I did find something for Nemo, Jehanne, Kate Benedict, Sarah, Rick's book, etc, but the pickings were indeed slim. If anybody out there has a website or blog I can link to, let me know, as networked PR is always better than stand alone!
Thanks,
Bill
