Thats quite an achievement, Sergio. As Maryann says, the judge was not just any old body.

Viva Sergio. Viva NonMet.

I nominate 'Sloth' to win the next decade.

And to the right of the page, the Poem of the Month is 'Chichicapa, Mexico' by Bernard Henrie.

BTW, I'm wondering if anybody told Sergio. The 2d runner-up, Cat Rogers, was gobsmacked to learn of it on facebook. (Our normal means of communication, poets.org, is still out of commission.)

Default Celebration of the decade!

Congratulations Sergio! The Hallam School of Sergio F.Lima Studies is in uproar: we hadn't seen this poem before! Are you keeping things from us?

You have blown my skullcap off into the ditch. Well done. Good to hear a voice we are so familiar with receive such a well-deserved accolade.
