'Spats' Tries Hexameter

Maybe it was related to John Mella's medical problems (may he be well!), but there was a problem with a few contributor's and subscription copies at Light Quarterly. However, mine came at last, and this item (which was Eratosphered) is at my link here. My big question to Spats is whether he practices elocution in front of a small mirror. (I bet Cicero did!)

John Whitworth features in that issue of Light (Spring 2010).

I thank you in loco scriptoris, as he said, for Spats himself, who told me he was going downstairs to leap aboard a Number 5 subway undercarriage and go shopping at the Strand Bookstore ("18 miles of books") for used epics to order online with my credit card!
