While at least a couple of you already know about this (thanks for the kind words, Maryann and Bill), I would like to take this opportunity to announce that my third collection, Labor Day at Venice Beach, has been accepted and will be published by the Cherry Grove Collections Imprint of Wordtech Communications in August of 2012.

This manuscript consists of free verse (my formal collection manuscript is still circulating), but I believe most of the poems display the accessibility and sense of rhetorical structure that readers often seek in formal poetry. At any rate, the poems generally do not partake of the private associations of the "skitterish" esthetic that seeks largely to imitate Ashbery.

Rather than burden Eratosphere space further, I will link to my blog post here.
