I can't remember if this has already been mentioned or not, but I got my copy of the Hudson Review yesterday, and Tim's "Hunter's Log" is featured quite prominently within. Great stuff. I still love "Sam Gwynn, that artful chef and sonneteer" as a section-opening line. Congratulations, Tim.

Also take note of Sam Gwynn's fine review, and Jarman on Longfellow, and a good essay on Dickinson, and other goodies.....

Indeed, I've begun reading the Gwynn review (really should have mentioned that in the first post, bah! ) and will get to Mark's soon enough, I'm sure.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but it would be ungracious not to say it on Steven's thread. Hunter's Log consists of nine lyrics workshopped here between October of 03 and January of 04. During that period and over the course of the poem's composition, there were about 2500 hits and in excess of 500 posted suggestions. It was an outpouring of interest, support, and constructive criticism for which I am deeply grateful. Never have I been so richly rewarded for the little bit I contribute around here. Thank you.

Hey, I just got my copy! They send it by "economy post" or something, postmarked Jan 21. I haven't had a chance to more than glance through it but I wanted to register my excitement at HAVING it! I will go to bed early and READ.

YAY!

Nothing like seeing an old acquaintance like this in a top magazine. Here's to many more, Tim.
