Default The Creek of Doom

Shit Creek Review is taking my sonnet, "What Happened to the Apples," in its End of Times issue, which is nearer than we think.

What's this building, Ric? Ecclesiastes doesn't have a Chapter 4 verse 23, so is it Ecclesiasticus then? Very mysterious and needs to be cleared up before The End gets any nigher. (IMHO)

That's on the bell tower of Old St. Mary's RC Church on Grant Street in San Francisco's Chinatown, Mary.

The book of Ecclesiasticus is better known as Sirach. Protestants consider it part of the Apocrypha. Catholics use it a lot in liturgies. Using it this Sunday, actually. Though not this bit.

Congrats on the sonnet, Rick!

Congrats to Rick and to all of you at the end of time! I loved the clock pic...
(Just taught "The Road" for the second time, and am feeling apocalyptic.)
