Light Acceptances
Light Quarterly has accepted thirteen of my poems for publication.
Anti–Gravity
First Love
Racing Pigeons
Sowing the Lawn
A Romantic Bestiary
Serenading the Neighbors
Infinite Monkeys
The Hat
Memories of a Poor Childhood
The First Laugh
Chaos & Effect
DNA Evidence
Caring for Schroedinger’s Cat.
The first seven listed will be published in the Summer issue when I will be the Featured Poet. The remainder will be published in subsequent issues.
Being featured poet in Light is a great honor. I am greatly indebted to Edmund Conti and to Tim Murphy for suggesting me to John Mella, Editor of Light Quarterly.
Tim Murphy has graciously agreed to contribute an essay on my work to accompany my feature appearance. Mr Mella commented in this regard; “Tim Murphy has agreed to write a piece about your poems. That, as far as I'm concerned, is a real coup. He's a superb poet and critic, knows scads about poetry, and wears it all very well”. Amen.
I would like to thank all here who contributed so much during the work-shopping of these poems.
Jim

That's wonderful news, Jim, and couldn't happen to a more deserving poet.

Light has long been a bright spot in the sometimes murky world of verse, and this makes it a star -- and you too, Jim!
