Peter,

Hadn't spotted this thread before receiving THE SHOp this morning and read your delightful poem. Hagiographies - especially of saints on the Celtic fringes - are rich sources of comic inspiration.

Many congratulations too on the Lapwing publication. I gathered from my own dealings with Dennis that he now prefers the 'chapbook' designation for the slender volumes on his lists.

Encore,

Margaret.

Good news, Peter! Very well done. Could you post details on where we could obtain it?

Thanks

Chris

Congratulations Peter.

I don't recall the particular poem (and the archives here at Eratosphere are getting thin so as to preclude another look), but I'm not surprised your poems are finding their way into print. Good job.

John

PS--could you repost the poem on this thread, or would that be questionable form?

Thank you everybody,

Margaret - glad you liked the poem.
the pamphlet looks to be
the old basic format with
maybe a few refinements.
Chris - Thank you. I have a few copies
of pamphlet. If you let me
know address I'll post you one.
email parkhouseplants@aol.com
John - Thanks for the kind words amd
your encouragement in general.
The poem is in the pamphlet too.
If you let me know where to send it...
Barb - Thank you - I'll keep on - as long
as the muse is willing.

Regards
Peter.

Meant to draw browsers' attention to the new website for THE SHOp at www.theshop-poetry-magazine.ie

The cover showing today is of the precurrent issue. The lhs sidebar is small and faint but functional. I couldn't find navigational arrows on the editorial page, but that's not fatal and will doubtless be corrected in due course.

Margaret.
