First Review
First review of MS/FT: http://bismarcktribune.com/entertain...cc4c03286.html
Solheim wrote a pretty negative review of Ploughshare eleven years ago, but either he's grown up or I have. Probably both!

A very good review, Tim, and I'm glad to see it.

Nice review, Tim. Now, if only someone would take my review of your Hunter's Log . . .

Delighted to see such a fine review. I'm making my way through the book now with great pleasure.
PS: At my favorite local restaurant, the owner is always putting up the ribbons that his retriever wins, including one from North Dakota. I don't suppose Feeney goes in much for shows and ribbons, but I would guess that he holds the North Dakota Duck-Fetching Record.

Dove fetching record, Gail. Feeney rarely hunts ducks. It's a nice little review, but it really doesn't hold a candle to what Catherine has to say.

Thanks, Ian, Adam and Ned. I'm intrigued that Solheim suggests that "novice readers of poetry" begin by reading the hunting section in each of the volumes. Of course, in North Dakota one can presume a thorough knowledge of hunting from the novice reader of poetry!
I am very fortunate to have found Dakota Institute. In the next couple of years we hope to bring out many books of poetry, mostly from Spherians who live in the West, which is our sphere of interest.
