Great Britain's Anvil Press is publishing The Sea, The Sea! an anthology of seagoing poems to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Trafalgar. The editor heard me read Bitter End, my ballad that "converses" with Patrick Spens, at the Royal Festival Hall; and miraculously, he remembered it. As a Patrick O'Brian certifiable nut case fan, I'm tickled to honor Lord Nelson.
Texas Poetry Journal just published a long interview and the first chapter of the new prosimetrum, Requited, my reflections on the Boy Scouts. The autumn issue will feature an excellent interview with Rhina by Roy Scheele.

Tim,,
That's wonderful news. Warmest congratulations!
(I didn't know that you too had given your all in the Royal Festival Hall.)
I'd love to read the interview with Rhina. I doubt I will be able to. I don't even have a reliable postal address at the moment.

Tim:
Congratulations. And it sounds as if Texas Poetry is another journal to add to my list of subscriptions.

Good news. I still haven't seen an issue of this magazine, which is from Austin, right?

The website is www.texaspoetryjournal.com. Sam, it is an Austin-based publication. The Scheele interview with Rhina will be next spring. I was very pleased with the job Steve Smith, the editor, did on my interview; it was conducted by email over the course of a couple of weeks. Sam, you are discussed at some length, particularly your prowess as a wing shooter; and I suspect Steve will be getting in touch to see if you'd be willing to follow Rhina's appearance. The only Spherean I see in this issue is Robin Kemp. The poetry is pretty weak, Steve Smith is very formal friendly, and I know he'd love to see submissions from Sphereans.
