Sphereans in Rattle
My copy of Rattle came in today's mail, and I just settled down with it, and what do I see in the TOC but Quincy's Lehr's "Bunga-Bunga" and Bruce McBirney's "Midnight," a long piece in abc rhymes.
Truly green and envious congratulations, gentlemen.
And Tony Barnstone should be mentioned as among the Rattle poetry prize finalists.

Reason: Bruce's piece has a rhyme scheme and isn't blank verse. I must have been really tired last night!

Yes, I got my copy and saw Quincy was in there, so I came here over the weekend thinking this must have been discussed in the past month or 2, but couldn't find it, so congrats! I really like Rattle, it is always a fine collection, a good place to be seen, and Mr. Green is a very nice person, it would seem to me.

Thanks, Maryann, for posting, and thanks Dave L., Charlotte, Nick, Jesse, Mike, Dave R., and Bill for the kind words. My issue arrived yesterday, and Bruce's poem in particular was just fantastic. Congrats to him and Tony as well.
