Default Gentle Reminder: String Poet Reading

Hey, folks,

Just a quick reminder: this reading is coming up on Saturday:

http://www.stringpoet.com/2011/08/w-...abriel-schaff/

"String Poet presents our final event of this 2011 inaugural season of the Studio Series, with the poignantly resonant poetry of W.F. Lantry, and the elegant melodies of violinist Gabriel Schaff. Hosted by Annabelle Moseley at the Long Island Violin Shop."

If you haven't heard him play, Schaff is brilliant. Anabelle Moseley is a wondrous curator of these events. Not sure I can live up to the praise, but I'm looking forward to trying...

Seriously, you should click that link: Annabelle really knows how to do these things well!

Thanks,

Bill

Bill, this sounds amazing--I did click--and would be there if I could! A bit far from LA, though....

Sounds like quite an announcement.

Good luck with the reading, Bill. I'm not clear from the annoucement whether the music and poetry happen at the same time or not, but whichever way, it sounds like a great combo. I notice Rhina Espaillat is announced on the page too

Thanks, Nick, Andrew, and Charlotte!

Andrew, I think Rhina's reading was in August. Short video here: http://www.stringpoet.com/2011/08/rh...-morrongiello/ It's worth a look!

Heading North soon, Fairfield tonight, Long Island tomorrow...

Best,

Bill

Enjoyed the Rhina reading, Bill; it reminded me that I've got to get me a copy of her John of the Cross. Is your reading, described by Aaron over at GT, going to have an online video too?
