Possibly it's just my own connection, but none of the links are working for me, Paul.

At any rate, congratulations to the nominees, whom I know you picked out of a very strong field of contenders that you had the luxury of choosing from.

Roger, thanks for pointing out the non-responding links. Somewhere in the message's metamorphoses the links picked up some rogue code. I've cleaned them up now and they should go like the clappers. Apologies to all. You really DO have to pick up every stitch!

And Roger said something else very apropos as well: we had an amazing field of contenders to choose from. The Chimaera picks were jointly made by Peter & myself; but I alone am responsible for The Flea's. I picked the poems that for one reason or another stayed in my memory most. There were so many others that pushed and vied for a place, all of them brilliant. I had to be brutal -- but what luxury, eh? -- to be brutal with such a field of champions.

And there's more! -- Shit Creek Review's nominations will be posted soon.

Thanks, all!

Many congratulations to many fine poets, and to the wise editors who published and "pushed" their work!

Best,
Jean
