Default The Yale Review

And Davey's in it! Well, his hilarious poem 'The New Dope' is in it. Cracks me up!

And a great line-up in the poetry section, including Wilmer Mills, David Bergman, and B. H. Fairchild.

And some amazing essays - wow! I've just read one called 'Narrative Sentences' by William Gass. It's absolutely fantastic!

And so much more...

But YAY Davey!!!

It's a lovely placement indeed, but rarified air is Mr. Mason's usual habitat, methinks.

I'll have to wait until the book comes out before I can read it.

Yes, that really is a great placement. Many congratulations to Dave.

Bulldog bulldog, bow-wow-wow, Eli Yale, as I believe they say.

Thanks, friends. If any of it comes on line, I'll let you know. I'm enjoying the issue, which also includes an essay-review on Benjamin Britten by Robert Messenger, a fine sonnet by Mairi MacInnes and a beautiful little poem by Michael Miller--the first two are old friends of mine, the third is new to me.

Dave
