Two sonnets in unusual venues
Neither poem was workshopped here, but I did hear your voices (in my head) at several stages of revision. One, entitled Divertimentum Ornithologicum, appeared in The Mathematical Intelligencer. The other, Elevator Speech, will appear shortly in the Journal of Humanistic Mathematics.

Pedro--
Congratulations on the placements, on finding these venues in the first place, and on bringing poetry to the possibly less-poetically-inclined!
Best,

Honestly, there's no better feeling than getting a poem into a venue that doesn't normally take formal poetry (or poetry in general). Congrats!

Great, Pedro. In all fairness, I think poetry journals should now start publishing the occasional math proof.

I love this kind of exchange! Maths, music, poetry - all share so much.
I just hope we get to read your sonnets somehow, Pedro!

As a former maths teacher myself I'm delighted to hear your news, Pedro.
( Any kind of symmetry has always made perfect sense to me, which is why I love metrical poetry )
Congratulations!

Congrats Pedro! Scoring without going through the Erato mill is a grand score indeed!
(Humanistic Mathematics...don't get me started~,:^)
