Congratulations to:

Daniel Pereira
Glenn Nicholls
Robert Pecotte (I feel stupid congratulating myself!)
Michael Cantor
C. Chandler-Oliveira
Nash Mason
Ann White
Peter Stewart Richards
Scott Donald Rowley

all of whom had Haiku published in the 2006 Winter-Spring edition of Modern Haiku. The Haiku were all work-shopped here during Lee Gurga’s guest spot on the Lariat this summer.

nyctom was selected as well, but must have refrained from submitting...

Thanks,

Fr. RP

Received the latest issue of Modern Haiku two days ago and, after reading it from cover to cover, I want to say: "Congratulations! A very good showing, Eratosphereans!"

And: While I'm booted-up and logged-on, might as well mention that, on page 7 of this issue, there's a Letter from the Editor, Lee Gurga, saying Charles Trumbull will be taking over the editorship of Modern Haiku beginning March 15th and the new address will be: PO Box 7046, Evanston IL 60204-7046.

All best--
Patricia

Actually Fr Robert, I do not publish my work as a rule (though of course it is always nice to be asked). I'm sure you were thrilled to see your name in print. And Lee Gurga was an interesting and informative Lariat. Congrats to you and your haiku-ing brethren who share the pages of that issue.

Perhaps Mr. Trumbull might be persuaded to become a Lariat in the future. It certainly seemed a mutually productive visit for Lee Gurga and Erato.
