Susan McLean in Blue Unicorn
My copy of Blue Unicorn arrived in the mail today, with two funny translations of Latin epigrams by Susan McLean. Props! Apologies to any other Spherians I have missed.

Well done, Susan! I've never seen a Blue Unicorn. I'll have to seek a copy!

Lovely, Susan! Congrats! I like the idea of a blue unicorn--I'll have to look it up. Thanks for posting Ed.

Ed beat me to it! I saw the poems today and loved them. Someday all these Mores must go into a book, right?

Thanks for the news, Ed. My copy hasn't reached me yet, so I didn't know it was out. It is great to find a home for some of these Latin epigrams from Sir Thomas More. Eventually I would like to put out a book of the translations, though in the current publishing climate I don't know whether there will ever be a significant market for such an esoteric work.
For those of you who don't know Blue Unicorn, it is a small, formal-friendly print journal out of Kensington, CA.

It isn't the first time Susan's work has graced Blue Unicorn either. BU is one of those "little" magazines that has been around a long, long time and it has an excellent reputation.
Susan, you might want to check out Argos Books which is one place I know that does chappies of translations. http://argosbooks.org/?page_id=15
