It's my pleasure to announce that Catherine Tufariello has won the Poets' Prize for Keeping My Name. Runners-up were Joshua Mehigan for The Optimist, Spencer Reece for The Clerk's Tale, and Eleanor Rand Wilner for The Girl with Bees in Her Hair. The award ceremony is Thursday 18 May at 7 p.m. at the Roerich Museum (on W. 107th St. west of Broadway). Hope to see some of you then!

Wonderful news. I hope it will make more people familiar with her fine book.

Excellent choice. Many congratulations, Catherine,

Gregory

p.s. Joshua Mehigan's book was very fine too. I don't know the other two.

Congratulations, Catherine, Joshua and the other runners-up! That judge had a sweet job, but a tough one.

There were more than 20 judges, and I'm proud to be one of them.

That is great news. I think Mezey was the last Spherean to win, and he's, ahem, a little older than Yekaterina.
