Default Chapbooks with Barefoot Muse Press

From the Barefoot Muse web site:

Quote:
"High Voltage Lines" by Tiel Aisha Ansari
"Shadows & Gifts" by Quincy R. Lehr
Semi-finalists: Lois Marie Harrod, Robert Donohue, Wendy Kaplan-Emmons and Frank Osen.
Thanks to all who entered!
No doubt some will raise their eyebrows at my appearing on Anna Evans's imprint, given our close association. Would I have entered had the thing been a contest with reading fees and a cash prize? No. Even had all been ship-shape, it would have looked corrupt. In this case, though, I simply submitted the manuscript in the alotted reading period (and the "finalist" and "winner" nomenclature aside, it was an open reading period rather than a contest), having been told that Anna reserved the right to reject for any reason she might see fit. In my mind, totally legit and above-board.

Anyway, thanks, Anna!

Quincy

Congrats. Glad to see Tiel's will be published, too. She is a lover of the sestina!

Great news. I'll be looking for a copy when it prints.

Hey, that's great Quincy! You're on a roll...

And a shout out to Frank Osen (across town) too!

Congrats to all.
