"Lexanne" lands.
My seven-sonnet crown, "Lexanne," has been accepted for an anthology of TV poems being compiled for Poets Wear Prada (Hoboken, NJ) by Joel Allegretti. Roxanne Hoffman is the publisher.
"L" had its go in Metrical some time back. Thanks folks.
It should be an interesting compilation, given the topic.

Congratulations, Rick. I remember "Lexanne" with interest. I actually knew another Lexanne. Best, Bill

Congratulations, Rick! (and what a fantastic name for a press, too.)

Thanks folks.
I something like a one-week turn-around on this, which is nice, given that I have several "out there" at journals that take something like a year to get back to you (and don't allow sim subs!)
I think PWP is still in the market of submissions for this anthology.
Bill, you knew someone named Lexanne!? The name in the poem is derived from a brand name for polycarbonate resin thermoplastic. I think it's a great name!

Great news, Rick! I think I remember that sonnet crown.

Rick, your poem was before my time, I think. But hooray, anyway! And the collection title, "Poets Wear Prada," is fab!

A petite, confident, but opaque brunette, with a large friendly boyfriend who wore a mustache and yellow aviator glasses.

Rick--
Congratulations! I'm fascinated by sonnet crowns, and look forward to seeing yours.
Best,

Thanks folks,
Charlotte, I don't know what the name of the anthology will be. Poets Wear Prada is the press.
Bill, I like the name Lexanne better with a boyfriend that has a mustache and yellow aviator glasses!
Jean, you must get your hands on Mike Alexander's We Internet in Different Voices published by Exot. It's a 20-something sonnet crown by a really good poet.
