LUPO 18 lopes in
LightenUp OnLine for June 2012, Mr Parker's coruscating digital compendium of comic delights, is now up and illuminating the encircling gloom of the naughty world like Portia's candle.
Sphereans represented include Brendan Beary, Jerome Betts, Chris O'Carroll, Jean L. Kreiling, Jayne Osborn, Leo Vincent, and Gail White, with Beary and Betts among the winners of Competition 17.
Apologies to any Sphereans whose names I've not recognised
Guaranteed Diamond Jubilee and Olympics-free!

Oh, thanks for posting this. For some reason I didn't get the email notification and would have missed this exciting event.
Hip, hip for all of you.

Brain Walkabout
The Spooner of Spoonerism fame once concluded a congregation-baffling sermon on the topic of Aristotle, left the pulpit, returned, and announced: 'Er, for Aristotle read St Paul'.
In the case of LUPO 18 . . . 'Er, for Olympics read Titanic.'
With apologies to Chris O'Carroll and his Olympic quatrain.

Well, not 100 percent Olympics-free. There is that bit of doggerel titled "Citius, Altius, Fortius." An ill-favored thing, sir, but . . .
