Default Rick Mullin's Soutine appreciated

I just ran across this enthusiastic review. I don't need to tell anyone here how much this extravaganza of terza rima, art, poetry & history richly deserves notice. Congratulations, Rick!

Well, as I said on the Soutine site, bravo! (I think that was the word I used!)

Give it a read, everyone.

Charlotte

"Cigarettes and alcohol alight and snap
the air like wings. But the Azuolas Canteen
is nearly empty. Sullen drinkers nap

as pictures from the new machine
ignite the wall and other drinkers gape.
The young projectionist--is that Soutine?--

keeps fumbling with a reel of film and tape.
Repairs are handled on the fly tonight.
And, yes, that is Soutine..."

...Just a quick taste of so much that's lovely here.

Congrats, Rick. That's a well-done review. I haven't read Soutine yet but I will. I'm looking forward to it. Any idea as to whether it's going to come out as an ebook, as Huncke did?

Thanks folks!

No plans for an e-book, Andrew. I think that would be a first for Dos Madres. Huncke was Seven Towers' first e-book, but I think DM is less likely to go down that road.
