Three of my poems, Trip Triolet, The Duchess of Dishes, and Queen Conch were just accepted at LIGHT - The Quarterly of Light Verse

Thanks to Toni Clark for the triolet contest that inspired me to write these triolets (thanks also for the HMs over at The Waters). Queen Conch was workshopped here - thanks especially to Rose and Maryann.

!!!!!!!!!

Mary, How exciting! I'm so glad that your triolets are going to see the LIGHT. Or the editors saw the light?

You are the most prolific triolet writer I know. Way to go!

Toni

Great news, Mary! Light is indeed lucky to be graced by 'Queen Conch'. Good for you!

Congratulations, Mary. Well done indeed.

It's also nice to see that Light responded so quickly to your submission, since the contest that inspired your triolets was just a month ago. A while back I was hearing lots of complaints about how long the response time was. You seem to have heard in a month or less. I guess it was a particularly easy decision to take your work!

Mary:
I subscribe to a dozen or so magazines that print a little or a lot of poetry, but Light remains the one I most look forward to. You've found a good venue!
Congratulations.
Richard
