I just heard that ten of my translations of Martial's Latin epigrams have been accepted for the Fall 2007 issue of Arion. It's a good journal for classical translations and original poems on classical subjects, though the response time can be slow (nine months in this case).

Thanks, everyone. Since six of the translations are four lines long and four of them are two lines long, the actual number of lines is not great. But I have never had so many accepted at once before, so that is exciting. With epigrams, as with potato chips, one tends to want to consume them in quantity, not just one at a time.
