The October issue of First Things just arrived, as I noted here.

It's got essays by Avery Dulles, Stan Hauerwas, Philip Jenkins, etc. Nothing exciting, I suppose, unless you like this kind of foray into American public intellectual life.

Oh, and did I mention poetry by our friends? Gail White, Tim Murphy, and Dave Mason all make star turns in the issue.

Congratulations to all! I stopped subscribing to that magazine because I got tried of the theological banter. Poetry by such excellent poets makes me want to renew my subscription.
