The editors took three pieces. Should I care
that they snubbed my verse for More and Baudelaire?

Seriously, my translations of Baudelaire's "Epigraph for a Banned Book" and of Sir Thomas More's "On a Fool" and "This Urn" have been accepted by Measure. The Baudelaire translation was the result of an exercise that Alicia started years ago on the Translation thread, but I did the More translations over this past summer.

Congratulations, Susan. This latest issue of Measure may not be as Spherian as the most recent Raintown Review, but it may be close.

Wow, three in an annual publication - congrats! I (enviously) look forward to reading them when the time comes.

Congratulations. No, don't sweat the snubbed parts

Terrific, Susan. I can't wait to see the Baudelaire you've done. Looks like it might be another banner issue of Measure for us here at Able Muse. They're running one of mine, as well, "Watching New Orleans Drown," with some excerpts from Winterproof in their book section.
