Hearty congratulations to Editors: Paul Stevens, Peter Bloxsom Consulting Editor: Nigel Holt, Artist/photographer: Patricia Wallace Jones, and the large number of contributors who really put the show on the road.

The Chimaera

It's time for some generosity and appreciation for such an exceptional and original publication. I will always be proud to have been in its first issue. May there be many more.

Janet

With the exception of the one contributor and the decision to publish him, heartiest congratulations and appreciation indeed.

Jim

Hear, hear! The Chimaera is an outstanding publication and I was also privileged to be a part of the first issue. I am inpressed with the breadth of both poetry and criticism. I also appreciate the willingness of the magazine to publish poems that are a little longer; it seems on-line publications opt for shorter poems.

So kudos to all involved. I am confident we will see a fine run of excellent work from Chimaera in the years to come.

Very glad to be in this issue, and looking forward to the translation issue, to which I also hope to contribute!

Wonderful issue. It reminds me of Monet's "Le Pont d'Argenteuil", a masterpiece which currently has a four inch tear in the canvas yet continues to look splendid notwithstanding.

Congratulations to Paul and the contributing Spherians.

Yay!

I don't know if Dave McClure reads Eratosphere, but I was pleased to see his poem 'Posterity' among the ranks of the fine poems published. Congratulations, Dave McClure. I like your style.

I think it would be awesome to get some audio poetry readings up and running. There is something special about hearing a poet's unique voice reading his/her poetry. Maybe someday we will.

And not least of all.... MEGA KUDOS to Peter, Paul and Nigel!!!

Anne

***Editing in to apologize for getting the title wrong on my first post. An honest mistake. I've been familiar with that poem for many years, though I'm sure it has evolved with revisions.

Thank you, colleagues, for your support, on behalf of the editors and most importantly of all, on behalf of the many very fine contributors that you will find in The Chimaera. I heartily recommend reading the many fine articles and poems, which I have greatly enjoyed engaging with at every stage.

The Chimaera's second issue will have a feature on translation, for which you are invited to submit poems and prose reflections, and we also invite you to submit general poetry and prose, both serious and light.
