Just got an e-mail from Gerry Cambridge... my poem, 'Queen of the Underworld', workshopped here some time ago, has been accepted in the Dark Horse. I'm pretty chuffed.

Good for you, Quincy. The journal is a tough nut to crack.

Damn, Quincy. That's just great. "Tough nut to crack" is right. Congrats, man.

I was just consoling one of our staff, telling her "TDH is the toughest ticket in town." Gerry just took a couple from Alan too, who told him "I'm no longer buying green bananas." Way to go, Quincy. Keep aiming high.

Congrats, Quincy. Coincidentally, I just sealed the envelope on a stack for Gerry, and will mail them tomorrow.
