Our own Alan Sullivan has a wonderful sonnet called "Annunciation" in the new issue of First Things, where he is among the poetic company of Rachel Hadas and Les Murray.

There is also an outstanding essay by Jody Bottum in the same issue on the subject of memory, memoir, and contemporary fiction.
