"Another Art" (a parody of E. Bishop's "One Art") will be in Umbrella's upcoming Bumbershoot, and "Irčne: A Portrait" will be published in a few weeks in FutureCycle Poetry, first online, then in print form.
"Irčne" was workshopped here some time ago. Thanks to all who helped me out on it.

Congratulations, Catherine. You mentioned in another post that I was on a roll. I can say the same for you. You seem to consistently publish and always very fine material.

Congratualtions! I am a fan of One Art, I hope you weren't too hard on it.

Congratulations, Catherine. My 'Harping on Discord' (a sonnet parody) will also be in the upcoming Bumbershoot - my first time being 'Under the Bumbershoot'. Thanks to Kate Benedict who has worked her fanny off putting this together.
It should be available on-line pretty soon.

Wow, Cathy, I just discovered FutureCyclePoetry yesterday and already a familiar face appears there.
You have written an excellent poem in my opinion. I will never look at this portrait of Mademoiselle Irčne Cahen D'Anvers in the same way again.
Congratulations to that one and to your Bumbershoot acceptance. I will be looking forward to the new issue so I can read that one too.
Best
Janice (who is still a little stunned by your lovely poem).

Congratulations.
Your FutureCycle poem is already online, by the way. I just read it and enjoyed it very much, as I did your "One Art" poem that I got an advance look at.

Thank you David and David, Anne, Janice and Roger. And Janice, the stuff narrated in the poem isn't the half of it! If you're interested in knowing more, PM me and I'll tell you the whole story of "Little Irene".

Good for you, Catherine, and this is a good time to mention how much I am enjoying your chapbook. I have been carrying it in my briefcase and reading the poems when I have some extra time. Very nice!
