I had a very exciting biannual trip to the post office today. Remember my recent neologism search with the spoons? Well, the spoons, alas, fell by the wayside, in favor of a new poem called "Queries" which I briefly posted in the neologism thread and begins:
My nearest, my queerest,
my conjugal dearest,
my closest, my mostest,
what shall I call you?
"Queries" and "When I Meet Her By the Seashore" (workshopped in Met) were just accepted at -- get this, Maryann, I snail-mailed the submission on 8/4/08 --
CHIRON REVIEW. Who'd have guessed that I'd wind up in a mag that's published Charles Bukowski and Quentin Crisp?
I also received a letter from
Gay & Lesbian Review offering me four free gift subscriptions to the magazine. So first four of y'all to PM me your name and address gets a free subscription. (Click on the link and you mens will see some nice artwork by Charles Demuth.)
