My copy of the summer 2008 issue of the Hudson Review came today, and in it are five poems by Rhina Espaillat. Congratulations, Rhina!
(I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite, though I'm leaning toward the triolet "Bistro.")

Despite years of rejection, Rhina kept on plugging away at the Hudson. I wouldn't be surprised if these were solicited out of embarrassed recognition at their entrenched editorial error, and I am glad it is a big splash. Finally.

I'll bet there are plenty of us who have suffered years of rejection from Hudson, and that makes this celebration of Rhina's poems all the better~~kudos, Rhina! Can't wait to see the issue.
