The latest issue of the Horse features poems by Quincy Lehr, Aaron Poochigian, Maryann Corbett, and I suspect other spherians as well. Sorry to miss anyone--I'm new here! Congratulations to all.
I highly recommend the essay "Gentle and Come Ouer: The Role of the Reader in Contemporary Poetry" by Hannah Brooks-Motl in the same issue. It looks at the latest trend: elliptical "poetry."

Thanks for this shout-out, Kevin, and for the good words, Alicia. I'm still waiting for the issue to arrive and very eager to see it.

My MOM got a copy, and I didn't. Over there to get it.

Jennifer Reeser and Katy Evans-Bush have work in there, too.

It's full of great stuff, including a very funny editorial by Gerry. Anne Stevenson discusses Frost's Prose, John Lucas, our forthcoming guest, XJ Kennedy. Catherine Tufariello has a poem, as does Jennifer Reeser. It is particularly good to see first time appearances by Maryann, Quincy, and Aaron. Well done.

I swiped Quincy's second contributor's copy, which is the best way to keep up with the journals. And I'm reading it too. Tremendous stuff. Congrats to everyone.

Congrats, everyone! This news convinced me that maybe I should submit there already.
