The Chimaera has leveled my karma! Shortly after being served another hard-to-swallow dirt sandwich from The Shit Creek Review, I learned that John Whitworth chose “Distraction” for Chimaera's light verse issue acomin’ in Q1 ‘09.

Shit Creek—I’ll be back. Without a paddle.

Congrats, Rick. I'll look forward to it. I enjoyed your sonnet in 14 by 14 too, accompanied by your wonderful painting. Let the good times roll!

Congratulations Rick! Congrats also to Gail and Michael. And to the Chi for once again tapping Eratosphere poetry keg.

I am really looking forward to reading this issue. With John as the judge, it has got to be a memorable, enjoyable, and everything-able issue.

Congratulations to all you light-minded bards!
