Desert Moon Review Spring Contest

I am pleased to announce the Desert Moon Review Spring Contest. Winners will be published in the Summer issue of Crescent Moon Journal to be edited by Mustansir Dalvi. Judges for the contest are Laurie Byro and Sachi Nag. Entries may be on any topic and in any form but must be 40 lines or under. Deadline is midnight, Saturday, May 5, 2007. Only one poem per entrant. E-mail poem to editor@desertmoonreview.com . You may type your poem either in the body of the email or send it as a Word attachment. Author's identification will be removed from the poems for shipment to the judges. Good luck!

Hi all

I am glad to announce the two winners of our Spring Desert Moon Review Contest, judged by Sachi Nag and Laurie Byro. The winners are:

First: "only so many" by Justin Sirois

Second: "Mary" by Shawn Nacona Stroud

Congratulations to the two winning poets and thanks to judges Sachi and Laurie for all your hard work.

The two recognized poems will be published in the Summer issue of Crescent Moon Journal upcoming, along with the judges' comments on the two poems.
