Thanks, Terese. It especially interested me that he wakes at 5 am, goes to his computer and also reads newspapers, and these activities make him energized and angry enough to start his day!

I found that charming too, Marybeth.

Can you believe 740 people turned out for a reading in Concord, NH? I heard Simic read in NY last year and it was standing room only in a large B&N room. He needed a room four times the size. A natural and amusing reader, but I could only deal with the crush for a half hour.
