Light
Just received my latest copy of Light Quarterly, and was delighted to see my poem, "A Study in Rodin" amongst so many I respect and admire. Tim Murphy was instrumental in getting John Mella's attention, and I'm grateful to him and all of those who assisted me when I workshopped it awhile back.
I also have three poems coming in the latest edition of the ezine, Pirene's Fountain, which is fairly formal-friendly (good alliteration, Dave) and has Kim A'ddonzio as the featured poet this month.

Great going. And, yes, terrific alliteration!

I've been told that I have a poem in Light, too, as well as a rhymed review of my book by "Particle" -- but cannot verify this as the pirogue bearing my copy has not come down Bayou Teche.

My issues fairly flew out of the Pony Express saddlebags yesterday. Indeed, you do have a wonderful poem in the issue, Gail, which I particularly enjoyed: "The Devoted Creatures." And the review of Easy Marks is marvelous!
The issue is loaded with Spherians: Tim Murphy, Claudia Gary, T.S. Kerrigan, Richard Wakefield, Amit Majmudar, Melissa Balmain, Mary Cresswell, Susan McLean, Robert Crawford, Jan D. Hodge, Simon Hunt, R.S Gwynn, and of course, the spectacular debut of David Bradsher!
I'd like to thank the critters who made extraordinary contributions to the three poems I have in the issue: "Red Kiss" - thanks for the daisy, Mike Alexander. "Prayer for Leaf" - terrifying emergence of two poems out of one, under the careful guidance of Cally and Janice. "Splitsville" - Robert Ward's awesome rhyme solution "a tissue which won't be sneezed in twice" and Nemo's follow-up dogged backchannel patience. Thanks, all y'all!!!!

Am I in there? I saw some proofs but haven't seen the issue yet. Maybe I got bumped to next go-round...

Simon, you're in there, too! Sorry I didn't recognize your name at first.
