Default recent submissions

Dear Colleagues, I'm doing my usual spring house cleaning. I submit in the spring when the wheat isn't planted and the bloody river is flooding me out! I feel a little awkward posting here, for these poems were not workshopped here. But Christian Wiman at Poetry just took Mizar and Alcor in Winter, and Prison Chaplain. David Yezzi at New Criterion just took Cole. James Babb at Gray's Sporting Journal took Rhymes from the Rosebud. Catharine Savage Brosman at Chronicles has provisionally settled on three poems, Miles to Go, Mission Church, and Fin de Saison. Oh, Anna and Quincy took one too, a poem called High Above Oahe. These are big poems, and it will take barrels of ink to send them out to these periodicals' subscribers. I am very grateful to my editors, and I am very grateful to you who have supported my efforts for many years. I have a great deal more floating round in editorial offices, and I hope to report more favorable results. Yr lariat, Tim

Stunned as I am to think that you managed to hone these poems without Deep End input, congratulations! Quite a haul.

I have had quite a bit of help from Quincy's board, which is sort of a mini-deep end.
