Anthologized!!!
I was waiting to see whether these publications would actually come to pass before I posted on the subject, and I just received a rather large parcel by mail from California.
I have four poems in this anthology:
Poems of Nature
They are:
“After Tao Yuan Ming (A.D.365-427)”
“The Big Dry”
“The Common Bond”
“Spring Storm”
And I have “Diagnostic” in this anthology:
Poems of Romance
And “The Underground” in this anthology:
Poems of Ghosts, Evil and Superstition
As many here will know, I don’t usually post to this forum, but this is something special for me – I am in REAL BOOKS (with real ISBN numbers and on Amazon) in company with some of my favourite poets:
John Donne, D.H.Lawrence, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, William Wordsworth, Wallace Stevens, A.E Houseman, Edward Lear, Robert Burns, Gerard Manley Hopkins, E.A. Robinson, and many, many more.
Some of my favourite poems, too from these poets.
So I am little bit chuffed (as they say back in old Blighty)!!!

Way to go, Mark! I am particularly intrigued by the Ghosts anthology --
that should attract a lot of readers!

Thanks, Gail!
Yes, the editor (William Roetzheim) must have been keen to take "The Underground", since it isn't specifically ghosty, evil, nor superstitious.
There are a few poems in this category - such as Frost's "For Once, Then, Something" - I suppose they are sort of "twilight zoney".

Thank you, Janet!
Yes, it is a thrill be anthologized, I must say.
I notice that an erstwhile colleague from Monash is in two of the volumes - Kevin Hart.
Janet - guess what! All the lines my six poems have been capped! Initial caps, that is.
And I don't mind at all!

Congratulations, Mark, that's quite a haul!!! I always like your nature stuff, and I remember enjoying "Underground" when you posted it.

Contratulations, Mark. A real haul on publications. Very impressive--and I'm all for poems and stories about ghosts.

Well done Mark -- well deserved! Of these I particularly remember 'Underground', which I very much liked.
