Anthologized Too
There's a wonderful new anthology out from Kent State called Beyond Forgetting: Poetry and Prose about Alzheimer's Disease. I'm very pleased indeed that my poem "Recognition" is included alongside so many fine poems, among them David Mason's "Home Care," a stunner, and others by Rachel Dacus, Edward Hirsch, Tess Gallagher (who also wrote the Foreword) and many others. If one of your family members is afflicted with dementia, you are certain to appreciate this volume, and it would be a great gift for someone you know who is in a caretaker role.
